The Main Living Area

Echoing the pale pinks and purples of the heather that covers the Harris landscape, this beautifully peaceful room really does bring the landscape inside. It has stunning views of the dramatic peninsula rising from the Atlantic, fringed by the vast Scarista beach. The Chaipaval Room offers you a luxurious king-sized Hypnos bed and a beautiful en-suite bathroom featuring a massive rain-style shower.
The Machair Room is a celebration of the rich grasslands and clear waters that surround the house. Bursting into flower in the summer with delicate harebells, orchids and clovers, the riot of colour outside is echoed within. The room can be configured as a super-king double or two single Hypnos beds, and guests can make use of the unique Boat Bathroom across the hallway.
Inspired by the stunning seascapes seen through the windows of the Shoreline Room, this fresh, relaxing space can be configured with a comfy super-king double or twin Hypnos beds. Delicate colours and seabird designs bring this room to life, echoing the expanse and beauty of Scarista. The Shoreline Room has a beautiful large en-suite bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower and plenty of storage and hanging space.
The Boat Bathroom is a beautifully designed and utterly original space, featuring a bespoke bath surround created by a Harris boat builder. Moored on a flow of heated pebbles, and with tiling features that use shells from Scarista beach, the shower screen of this boat bath forms a sail, completing the room’s design. A luxurious and memorable space, the Boat Bathroom celebrates the flocks of oystercatchers that are so common on Harris.
This is a space designed for you to snuggle into when you need to get some work done. With views the envy of any office, and replete with USB adapters, a printer, satellite television and a superb Sonos surround-sound system, there’s no better place to catch up with your emails, if you really have to.
