If at any time you wish for any data we have stored for you deleted please get in touch via email. We will then have 30 days from notification to remove all data and prove this to you.

Online Bookings: The personal data we hold for you with reference to bookings made online is: first & last name, postal address, postcode, telephone numbers, email address. This information is only ever used to contact you with relevant information prior to or during your stay and for the purposes of booking.

Enquiry Forms: Enquiries from our website: The data we hold from this form is your first & last name, telephone number and email address.

Payment data: Holiday Rent Payment (Yapstone) complete and process all payment transactions securely through their online payment portal. We do not store any card information, if you make a telephone booking a link will be sent to enable you to pay online. You will need to agree to Holiday Rent payments Terms and Conditions to complete a booking with us. You can view their policies here:

Use of Information
The information collected may be used for research purposes. You can inform us at any time if you no longer wish us to store any data.

If you provide your email address to us, you agree that we may send information to you by email in relation to our services surrounding your booking. We can do this under the legitimate interest clause in GDPR.

We will share your details with SuperControl (our online booking management system) when setting up a provisional booking over the phone or by email with the purpose of them delivering their service to us. For example, the data will enable payment to be taken and the calendar to be blocked out.

We may from time to time wish to use other services provided by SuperControl, such as a review service at any time you may decide to opt-out.

We are a member of Premier Cottages, a professional collective of independent luxury cottage owners.  Premier Cottages promotes our property on our behalf as well as other luxury cottages.  As members of Premier Cottages we would like to give them your information so that they can contact you about other quality properties that you might like.  

Newsletters and Emails
If you subscribe to our newsletter this will be sent out 4 times a year. You are welcome to unsubscribe from Oran Na Mara newsletters at any time – all our emails and newsletters will have clear unsubscribe options.

Data Security
We take appropriate measures to safeguard the information we hold from unauthorised access or improper use. Our database is stored in a secure, password-protected location. Only users authorised by us have access to this data i.e Paul Honeywell (Owner) and Rosie Honeywell (Manager) at Oran Na Mara.

Integrity of Data
We take all reasonable measures to ensure that the information we hold is accurate. In particular, we use reliable collection methods and destroy or convert to an anonymous form, any out-of-date data. Individuals may request details of all personal information held by us so as to contest inaccurate or incomplete data, verify the information and have it corrected as appropriate.

Our website is not targeted at children but in any event personal information will not knowingly be collected from children under fourteen years without parental consent.
